It occurs to me...

It occurs to me that I never mentioned that I finally gave in and had my colonoscopy (4 years late). Since mom was diagnosed with colon cancer at 36 I was supposed to start 10 years earlier than that. Everything checked out ok and I'm off the hook for 5 years. It wasn't as awful as people made it out to be, but I wouldn't consider it fun either. Anyway, good news. If you didn't want to know all that--my apologies.

Cookie Baking! It is now officially the Christmas season--why you ask? Because I baked cookies (and not just me, Beth and Jonica baked too!) The magic cookie bars were so easy--I haven't made them since Sara lived here and I wish I hadn't stopped making them (I also wish they weren't all gone) Also for your viewing pleasure, my new bench scrapper, it cuts and scoops beautifully.
I made biscotti for the first time-cranberry walnut. This is is prior to the slicing, I seem to have not taken any "after" pictures, and I ate it (all by myself).

Here we have the shortbread cookies. Notice that banana? Wish I had remembered I had it there, it became banana bread last night.
Holly cookies--by popular demand. My mouth is a little green right now, I couldn't resist when I passed them on my way out to get the recycling.
This was my face around 11pm when I realized I had not taken the white chocolate salty out of the freezer where it was placed around 8pm to chill for about 15 minutes!
Here is the white chocolate salty, none the worse for its extra long freeze.
