Back from the beach

This is going to be my first attempt at a post with pictures. I just got back from the beach. I had some kind of miserable cold sinus thing but still managed to get a little tan and a bit blonder. (I love it when the sun bleaches out my hair) There was a weird occurence at the beach--we had kind of an inland lagoon created on the beach.
The view is from the balcony of the condo (the Hirshes are amazing and let us stay there for the week)

The water was up to your knees as you walked across it.

I tried to take a walk along the water's edge, that would be the ocean's edge, not the edge of this special lake--the waves knocked me around and I wasn't even up to my knees.
