Failed peach picking

Today my friend Kathryn and I decided to go peach picking. We arrived at Linvilla orchards with high hopes, but the peaches aren't ripe yet. We both agreed we prefer our peaches to be so ripe and juicy you have to use them within hours of arriving home, and if the peach cobbler still has distinctive peach pieces in it after cooking they weren't ripe enough. These peaches did not meet those requirements. So we picked raspberries instead. They more than made up for the peach failing. They are amazingly melt in your mouth juicy and sweet. We also got some corn, squash, zucchini and blueberries. Now bellies are full and mouths are happy. Here are the fruits of our labors (yes we know, that is a pun, it's been said already tonight, now you can groan too.)
